Laverty’s hopes of extending his advantage at the top of the leaderboard were scuppered six laps in when he pulled off the circuit with a technical issue on his Parkalgar Honda.
Lavert: “Obviously I’m disappointed with how my day went but this is racing after all. That’s the first breakdown we’ve had this year and unfortunately it happened during a race. My bike felt really good on the first lap, it was handling so well and I could brake incredibly late. I moved to the front confident of victory but the moment I took the lead my bike began losing power.

All is not lost however, I was in a similar position in the title race after Valencia earlier in the year and I bounced back with three wins in a row. I intend to do the same again.”

What a bummer but you’ve nothing to prove. We and any prospective team for next year know you’re world class. Stay positive 4 more wins will test Superglue’s sticking power;he’d need a minimum of 4 second places.

That’s the first breakdown and the last. Dont you worry this is your chanpionship! You’ve already proven that. Just keep her wound up for the next 4. Superglue will have no answer.

First DNF in all your S’sport races to date I believe.

Now if you can use that to ignite the fire in the belly even more, and then we will see what superglue is made of…..the pressure is more so on him to maintain his lead and not let you run him down.

Hello the Eugene.

I am feeling so sorry for you with the having to push your motorcycle back to the pits – This is very difficult works for a rider in a race. I feel very sorry you have this to do, and I also feel bad for the breakdown as well, but more for the big push up the hill. I have one time the memory from Marc when he was young rider have to push his motorcycle back from the rear of the circuit in Lichtenworde in the deep schand. This is maybe more difficult, so you are lucky persons that you do not race motocross world championship. 

Also hi to the Mick – It is good that you have good family in the Mick so he make good decision with you in your direction for next year. Marc, he have a manager, but it is better to keep in family if it is possible maybe.
