Racing has been in the heart of Yamaha ever since the company was formed in 1955. Even before the first machines left the production line, Yamaha was competing (and winning) at famous events in Japan. ALPINESTARS
I’m glad to continue with the leaders in motorsport apparel for 2011. Alpinestars never stand still, they’re always trying to improve. I’ve worn a suit equipped with datalogging at a few races to gather information for the R&D guys. Not only is Alpinestars kit the coolest out there, it’s also the safest!
SHOEI
For the 2007 season I moved to Shoei helmets and I have continued with them for the fifth season running. My lid adorns the Shoei logo and is decaled with energy giant Monster’s recognisable logos this season. For three years I wore the X-Eleven but that changed in 2010 with the introduction of the new X-Twelve model. Check out their site.

Pat Crowley has been involved in the racing scene for a long time. He was the man behind the Powersport Racing team which ran Irish rider Hilton Hincks in the British Championship. Everyone remembers James Courtney dominating the Irish road racing scene on the beautiful IFS Ducati.
